Quality Rated was developed to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early education and school‐age care programs. Child care programs that are participating in Georgia’s Quality Rated have agreed to meet standards that exceed the state’s licensing requirements and is committed to improving the quality of care it provides to children.  Programs are awarded one star, two stars, or three stars based on the results of a rigorous application process; and, star ratings – regardless of whether it is one, two or three stars – indicates a higher quality program.
